On December 3, 2025, an online meeting was held between Dr. Ben Knight, Head of the Department of Pedagogical Research at Oxford University Press (OUP), Dr. Hasan Sağlamel, Director of the School of Foreign Languages at Karadeniz Technical University, and Cengiz Koray Saka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages. The meeting was part of an international research project aimed at sharing experiences regarding successful English language teaching programs implemented at universities worldwide. During the meeting, information was shared about KTU's English preparatory program, language teaching approaches, technological applications, and assessment processes. The meeting was considered a positive step towards strengthening future collaboration and academic interaction.
